New Product

K Lime Natural Hydraulic Lime Mortars
The manufacturers of K Rend are pleased to announce a new environmentally responsible product range; K Lime Natural Hydraulic Lime Mortars. K Lime is the result of an extensive 3 year research and development programme. The range incorporates a dry bagged mortar, available in 3 different grades and has been designed for use in stonemasonry, bricklaying, blocklaying and as a plaster or render. For many centuries lime has been used as the binder of choice in both masonry construction and to provide a durable finish protecting the building from weather elements. Recently we have been rediscovering the benefits of hydraulic lime for today's challenging environment. Natural hydraulic lime uses less energy in production and absorbs more CO2 throughout curing than Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), therefore reducing CO2 emissions. K Lime Natural Hydraulic Lime Mortars are much more flexible than OPC derived products and can better accommodate movement within the structure. The new K Lime range is not only good for the environment but it is also good for the building.
